You are informed of your pass/fail results immediately upon submission (please wait for the pop-up to confirm your results).
We do not reveal scores, and we do not provide detailed exam analyses.
Why? The purpose of the exams is to determine if a candidate has or does not have the knowledge necessary to be certified in accounts payable, procure-to-pay, accounts receivable or order-to-cash, according to the standards set by IOFM in the respective Certifications for these professions. It is not the purpose of the exams to assign rank or any other interpretation to the score. Pass/Fail scores were determined using the cut-score process recommended and overseen by The Chauncey Group (now Prometric), recognized experts in testing and assessments.
According to The Standards for Educational and Psychological Testing, developed jointly by the American Educational Research Association (AERA), the American Psychological Association (APA), and the National Council on Measurement in Education (NCME):
"11.15 Test users should be alert to potential misinterpretations of test scores and to possible unintended consequences of test use; users should take steps to minimize or avoid foreseeable misinterpretations and unintended negative consequences." (The Standards, 1999, p. 116)
