For those who are taking the Certification at an IOFM Conference, we do not give access to the practice quizzes, video recording or the 3 attempts at the certification exam until after the in-person training. Here's why:
Video recording: You will be attending the class in-person. The video recording is a recording of a previous in-person training, so there is no point to receiving it beforehand.
Practice quizzes: There will be practice questions given over the course of the in-person training. We do not give the practice questions out in advance because we do not want to spoil the value of being able to do knowledge checks throughout the day in-person.
3 attempts at the exam: We do not want you to attempt the exam before you attend the in-person class. We recommend taking your first attempt in-person when you have an opportunity to do so at the end of the day. If you do not feel ready or you do not pass this first attempt, you will be given access to your remaining attempts online after the conference.
After the conference, you will be given access to the full self-study course. If you passed the course, you will be able to use it as a future reference for as long as you remain actively Certified. If you fail or do not attempt the exam, you will have a full year after the conference to pass with your remaining attempts.
