Your Certification is valid for one year after you pass the exam.* It will expire if you did not self-report the appropriate amount of CEUs before your expiration date.
Expired for less than 3 months: You have a one-time three-month grace period after your Certification expires to have it reactivated for an administrative fee. If you completed the necessary CEUs within your compliance period but did not self-report them, you will still be required to self-report all of your CEUs. This must be completed before your Certification can be evaluated for reactivation. Please log your CEUs for your expired Certification and reach out to the Certification Department at certification@iofm.com to be evaluated and pay your fee.
Expired for more than 3 months: If your Certification has been expired for more than three months, you will need to retake the entire Certification program. Please get in touch with your training advisor or contact the Certification Department at certification@iofm.com to connect with a training advisor.
If your course enrollment expired before you completed the exam, please contact Certification Support. This reactivation policy is applicable to Certifications, not enrollments.
*Certain exceptions do apply. Certificates with no end date, like CESA or the Solution Consultant programs, will never expire. CPRS Certifications earned after 2017 will have a 2-year compliance period, and those with the CPRS designations are required to retake the exam rather than earn CEUs.
